EMAC and its international profile

Viewing the whole world as its area of interest; training engineers with a truly international outlook...
Ever since it was founded, EMAC has taken care to build its educational program around this priority objective: to be open to the world and to adapt to the globalized environment.

EMAC's international outlook is especially evident via:

  • a program of teacher-researcher exchanges with overseas universities

  • the presence of students from a wide range of different countries: see Foreign Students

  • the requirement for a minimum level of language skills, the requirement that students achieve a certain level of proficiency in English as a condition of admission for continuing training or prior to obtaining a degree

  • the requirement that all student engineers' training includes significant overseas (trip, overseas placement or similar) experience of at least 3 months' duration

  • active encouragement and help in arranging overseas visits as part of the program of academic exchanges for the brightest students, and for the preparation of double diplomas in collaboration with an overseas institution (conventions covering double diplomas are at the Ingénieur-Master of Science and Doctorat-PhD levels)

  • the organization of international conferences on the EMAC campus
