The 3 Research Objectives
to assist researcher-teachers to keep abreast of the latest developments for the benefit of engineer/master/doctoral students; placing students into professional positions is made easier by researcher-teachers' close links with industry
to improve knowledge through:
- publications
- academic degrees (Research
Master, Doctorate,
accreditation
to supervise research)
- research contracts, often with an industrial
partner (approx. 2 million euros per calender year)
- patents
to contribute to economic growth through:
- transfer of research results to industry
- training engineers for careers in industry
- supporting innovation through the EMAC
technology incubator, pairing promising projects with EMAC Research
Centers.
The 3 Research Centers
The Divided Solids Process Engineering laboratory for powders (for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries) and energetic waste processing (for the transformation, stabilization, remediation, recovery of materials/energy from waste)
The Tools, Materials and Processes Research Center (CROMeP) for materials forming
The Industrial Engineering Research Center for product configuration software, logistics chains and project management risk control
